Neurodevelopmental pediatricians provide assessment and treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in addition to treating a wide range of childhood disorders. Emergency medical services are available within 24 hours.
Psychiatrists at QBH have the benefit of an experienced support staff, including scheduling of appointments, billing, typing of correspondence, prior authorizations, and pharmaceutical patient assistant programs, allowing physicians to concentrate on matters of medical significance. Arrangements with several large primary care groups to provide comprehensive and integrated behavioral health services ensure a steady flow of referrals. Staff development includes ongoing psychopharmacology, peer supervision, and literature review in a collegial environment open to all medical staff.
