Licensed Clinical Social Worker Employment Opportunity
Quality Behavioral Health, an outpatient psychiatric and psychotherapeutic group in Warwick, RI, is seeking to add Licensed Social Workers to its staff. An increase in patient referrals due to growth and development, and of course covid-related mental health symptoms, requires additional staff, and we are hoping to draw upon the skills and experience of social workers to meet this need. Candidates wishing to supervise MSW and LCSW students will receive special consideration. Due to the large client base, the availability of thirteen psychiatrists and psychiatrist nurse practitioners, the support of a dedicated support staff, and a centrally located facility on a RIPTA bus line you will be ensured a steady flow of clients. A Registered Dietician/Nutritionist is available to help patients develop Wellness Plans. Genoa Healthcare, a pharmacy specializing in psychotropic medication is located on site, offering staff consultation services.
Numerous opportunities for professional growth and development are presented throughout the year. A generous compensation package is offered. The company also has contractual agreements with a number of large Primary Care practices and community agencies which also refer many of their patients to QBH.
QBH provides psychiatric services and medical management and counseling to approximately 1,800 patients weekly, treating children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples suffering from any of a wide range of mental and emotional disorders. The services are provided by a staff of Board Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrists, a Developmental Pediatrician, prescribing Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Psychologists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, and Licensed Social Workers using evidence-based therapeutic models.
Social Workers joining QBH will focus on psychiatric diagnoses, including differential diagnosis of mental health disorders and on psychotherapeutic treatment for these disorders. Counselors will work collaboratively with QBH staff and in partnership with outside providers of medical and therapeutic services to ensure comprehensive and integrated treatment.
